PLANNING APPLICATION LEEDS

PARKdesigned have recently submitted two planning applications for an above ground heating pipework system at the Leeds Playhouse and Glencoe View. The two planning applications  are part of one of the UK’s largest Heat Networks that will provide heat and hot water to thousands of homes and businesses in Leeds. The £35million network, developed with Leeds City Council and Vital Energi will connect 1,983 council homes and numerous business. The steam generated by the Veolia operated RERF, will be converted into hot water and distributed through one of our energy centres and along a 16.5km network of district heating pipes.

ENERGY CENTRE LEEDS

PARKdesigned are currently working on the construction information for a new energy centre in Leeds as part of one of the UK’s largest heating networks. The Recycling and Energy Recovery Facility (RERF) in east Leeds will provide a new flagship heat and hot water system to 1,983 council homes and numerous business around Leeds City Centre. By taking steam generated at the Veolia operated RERF, converting it into hot water, and distributing it along a 16.5km network of district heating pipes, the heat network will connect homes and businesses in Leeds to a new, environmentally friendly source of heating and hot water.
