The facility developed with South Tyneside Council will provide low-carbon energy to local homes and businesses. We are pleased to announce that work has started on our energy centre in Hebburn. The cladding has started to be fitted to the steel framework. The energy centre is progressing fast with the 272-metre pipe network and other infrastructure already complete. The network will initially connect to Durham Court a residential tower block and the Hebburn Central leisure centre. This should cut carbon emissions by around 319 tonnes a year.
