New Build House Leeds Conservation Area

We have submitted planning for a new building house in the North Leeds Conservation Area. The design of the house is in keeping with the local architectural vernacular. The proposal takes inspiration from the local properties where brick is the prominent material while hung tile dormers, sash windows, painted stone detailing and ornate paneling are also proposed. By incorporating the key material finishes and architectural detailing of neighbouring properties, the proposal will continue to retain the character of the existing street scene. The scale of the property is also sensitive to the site allowing the existing spatial rhythm continue along the street.
