Pudsey Barn Conversion

PARKdesigned have started construction work on a barn and house conversion in Leeds. The existing barn and house will be completely stripped back to its structure and then turned into a new 4 bedroom family home with a separate annex.

The existing roof, stud walls and plaster have all been removed to reveal quite a few historic problems. See below a picture of one of the existing window lintols. We are currently working with the Structural Engineer to provide solutions to the contractor for the existing remedial works.

Renovating an existing house can be a rewarding experience, but it also comes with its fair share of challenges! Having the right team around the client to help advise and over come the challenges is essential to the project.
