Residential Scheme Brentford

PARKdesigned have started work on a 25 unit scheme in Brentford. The proposed scheme demolishes the existing residential building and replaces this with a purpose built 5 storey apartment development that will be a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. The scheme will also have a large communal roof garden. This is something we feel is important to the scheme because of the benefits they provide. These are:

1. Offering a usable place to participate in activities that promote social interaction and physical exercise. Roof terraces and green space help reduce stress and have a positive effects on anxiety and well being.

2. Unlike traditional flat roofs, green roofs reduce energy costs by absorbing heat instead of attracting it and providing natural insulation for buildings.

3. Green roof’s plants remove air particulates, produce oxygen and provide shade. Careful selection of planting can also create a good habitat for wildlife and bio-diversity.

The scheme is currently at the design stage with a planning application being submitted soon. To see more of our residential work please click the button below.
