PARKdesigned’s plans for converting the Old Courthouse in Harrogate town centre into three townhouses have been approved.
The existing site, located on Raglan Street, had been the Harrogate office of Stowe Family Law as recently as February this year after their acquisition of the building back in April 2004. It was built circa 1899 to replace the police station that originally stood there and was used by the justices for the borough over the next 92 years, with cells in the basement for detaining criminal defendants.
Our plan will see the building transformed from offices into two three-bedroom townhouses and one two-bedroom townhouse. Each will have parking for two vehicles and a rear garden.
Each of the townhouses feature a reception hallway, cloakroom with w.c, sitting room and a spacious kitchen/diner. The first floor of each will include a master bedroom with en-suite and the two three-bedroom townhouses will also have a playroom/office with one of them also having a cinema room.
