We have started work on the conversion of Eastern Court, from a Chinese restaurant into contemporary offices in Bakewell.

The small market town, situated on the banks of the river Wye in the heart of the Peak District, is something of a magnet to sightseers and features notable architecture with its beautiful old buildings, cottages and distinct landmarks such as Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.

The nearest major town is Chesterfield, 10 miles west, and the pandemic has seen a rise in the demand to work closer to home and save on miles of travel. Our project is a result of this demand and the office spaces we create in Bakewell will bring more businesses to this traditional visitor hotspot.

This should create more local jobs for Bakewell residents and contribute to economic growth in the community.

The conversion will maintain the traditional feel of the town with a contemporary modern touch.
