Residential Refurbishment North Leeds

PARKdesigned recently completed a house refurbishment in the North Leeds Greenbelt. The client approached us to change their home for the way they live. Without extending, a new utility, pantry, separate lounge, office and open plan ktichen/living/dining was designed.

The existing ground floor did not work and created dark and awkward shaped room - the existing floor was removed and replaced with underfloor heating that is powered by a new ground source heat pump. The whole ground floor of the house was affected during construction with the new open plan kitchen/living/dining taking centre stage of the build. The design team worked with the client throughout the 18 week programme to make sure they were kept informed on what was taking place.

The new layout creates a large open plan kitchen/living/dining area that is flooded with natural light from a 6m sliding door.
