Residential Planning Approval York

PARKdesigned have recently gained planning approval for a residential extension and internal alteration in York. The existing house was in need of a modern alteration with the existing layout being dark and cramped. A new open plan kitchen/living/dining area has been designed at the rear of the house to create a more social and interactive environment. By removing the existing walls and barriers between different areas of the home, it's easier for the couple to move around and engage in conversation, making it great for entertaining guests and spending time with family. Another advantage of the design is that it maximizes natural light and creates a sense of spaciousness. By opening up the floor plan, natural light can flow more easily throughout the space, making it feel brighter and airier.

The planning approved design has also created a new welcoming entrance area with a cloak room and shower room and a master suite on the ground floor with views over the fields. Work will hopefully start towards the end of this year.
