Residential Development Wembley

PARKdesigned have started work on a new build 4 storey residential development in Wembley. The current site is occupied by a single two-storey 4-bed detached house which has planning to be demolished and replaced with a 4 storey building consisting of 7no. flats with basement car park; communal amenity space and associated cycle and refuse storage. The dual aspect apartments have been designed with a view to thermal efficiency, solar gain and the need to avoid reliance on air conditioning. They also comply with the floorspace standards of the London Plan with the amenity space complying with the standard required under policy DMP19. A contemporary design for the building has been adopted with a stepped front and rear facades and deep inset balconies. The use of brick as the main material is broken up by varying bonds and reflects the local vernacular. The project will look great and we can’t wait to starting on-site this year.
