Residential Conversion Wakefield

PARKdesigned have begun the Building Regulations Information to convert a dis-used hospital in Wakefield into residential apartments. The conversion of the building into 14 apartments will help bring the former maternity hospital back to life after it has been boarded up for many years.

The building will be completely refurbished with most of the existing features and openings retained. The project is part of the Wakefield waterfront regeneration which has been spurred on by the opening of the award winning Hepworth Gallery.

Construction will hopefully begin towards the end of the year.
