HOMIFY FEATURE

PARKdesigned’s Guiseley project has been featured as an article on homify, an independent online platform for architecture. The article details the stunning transformation of a 1930’s semi detached house into a modern family home.

When PARKdesigned took hold of the property it had not been touched since the 1970’s.  The kitchen was crammed with appliances that left nowhere to cook and decorated with curtains that belonged in an episode of Only Fools and Horses! As for the lounge, well the clients were left with an antique commode- not exactly up to date fixtures and fittings! PARKdesigned took the bones of the 1930s house and added a wrap around extension. A large kitchen dining area was created to provide the client with a space for entertaining whilst listening to their classic vinyl collection. The existing house was updated with a simple palette of colours  to allow the space to breathe.
