ERIC F BOX FUNERAL DIRECTORS

PARKdesigned are pleased to announce the completion of Eric F Box Funeral Directors.  The extension to the funeral home was a single storey building providing a new feature entrance, function room and store. The design used a classic theme of repetitive planes that appear robust, intentional and well balanced. They also provide a buffer to the busy main road. These overlapping planes allow for subtle North facing windows to provide natural light into the space. A south facing memorial garden was created between the existing building and the contemporary extension in the heart of the scheme away from the main road. Visiting a bereavement home can be an emotional experience and we believe that the elegant architectural form combined with a refined palette of materials and colours provides a comfortable and relaxing environment for all.
