City of London Net Zero Carbon Emissions

PARKdesigned are working with Vital Energi on the completion of their City of London contract, aiming to help drive London towards the ambitious target of net zero carbon emissions by 2027. 

The project will help to make London’s non-domestic public buildings and assets more energy efficient and has guaranteed energy savings of over £480,000 a year as well as carbon savings of over 1,000 tonnes a year. 

As part of our assistance with the project we looked at drawings for three pool covers for Vital Energi at different locations in London. One of these was at Marshall Street Leisure Centre & Spa which contains a 30m swimming pool offering a number of aquatic activities.

The Porchester Leisure Centre, located in the heart of London, contains two swimming pools - a 30m main pool and a smaller one - offering award-winning lessons and the Seymour Centre on Seymour Place has its own 30m swimming pool.
