BUBBLE TEA LEEDS
PARKdesigned are pleased to see that the Bubble Tea Shop in Leeds they designed had people queuing out of the door on the opening day. Chatime is the world’s largest international tea-house with 23 other shops in the UK with the newest shop being located in the Merrion Centre, Leeds. The success of the Leeds Arena Quarter has enabled the Merrion Centre to attract such internationally renowned companies to provide a diverse mix of brands and specialist operators.
As part of the design PARKdesigned were able to create additional seating for Chatime by re-organising the internal space. For the material palette, aged timber and natural moss were chosen to provide a natural environment from the ‘hustle and bustle’ of Woodhouse Lane. The unit is now a welcoming and light space for the customer to stay and enjoy a variety of specialist drinks served typically with edible ‘pearls’.
