Seagulls reuse paint

PARKdesigned Architects have been assisting Seagulls, a social enterprise dedicated to recycling unused paint and selling it at affordable prices, with their move to a new location in Holbeck.

Seagulls had been operating from Aire Place Mills in Kirkstall since 2006, but due to the area’s regeneration plans, their previous premises are listed for demolition. The organisation, which collects and repurposes unwanted household paint, has secured a five-year lease for a new space on Water Lane in Holbeck, which is three times larger than their old site. PARKdesigned, working alongside the project management of Pierre Angulaire, provided architectural design and planning services free of charge to support the charity's relocation. We wish Seagulls great success in their new home.

See below a video of their new premises.
