Nottingham City Hospital Energy Centre
PARKdesigned have just completed the energy centre at Nottingham City Hospital. The energy centre uses a combination of natural gas-fired boilers and combined heat and power (CHP) engines to generate heat and electricity.
The CHP engines are highly efficient and generate electricity and heat simultaneously, which reduces energy waste and makes the hospital's operations more cost-effective and environmentally friendly. The energy centre is part of the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust's commitment to reducing its environmental impact and achieving sustainable growth.
