PARKdesigned are currently designing a unique new build house in Wakefield. The site is shared with a funeral directors, so a house that is sensitive to its surroundings is required. The difficult brief of providing two front doors, one for the business and another for the house has been dealt with by a corner cut-out section. This combines the two entrances rather than having both stand alone. The brick detailing and large windows gives the house character avoiding the uniformity seen in large housing developments.
