LEEDS INDEPENDENT BIKES
PARKdesigned have taken part in the Leeds Independent Bikes project. The bikes have been designed by TIGER TEA and implemented by Duke Studios with PARKdesigned choosing the Lotus Sport 110. The PARKdesigned bike is displayed on Jowett & Sowrys window on North Street.
What is the project about:
The bikes have been placed throughout the city on the windows of independent business who have signed up for the project. There are 120 popular bike designs ranging from a Lotus Sport 110 to a Schwinn Stingray.
Why:
The reason for the project is to show the variety of independent businesses in Leeds during the Yorkshire Festival. The project will also highlight small businesses that are sometimes overlooked, giving visitors to Leeds and locals somewhere new to visit.
