PARKdesigned have recently submitted a housing development in Leeds for planning approval. The site presents a logical opportunity to redevelop an underused public house and bring a brownfield area of land into residential usage in a desirable area close to employment centres, with existing public transport links on, and adjacent to the site. By adopting a sensitive material approach and drawing on the local rural Architectural vernacular, a range of bespoke house styles has been created. This will provide accommodation on the site that roots itself into the locality and overall context of the Special Landscape area, whilst presenting an attractive development overall.
