PARKdesigned had the pleasure of visiting the office and factory of Burmatex carpets. Burmatex is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of contract carpets and carpet tiles. They have a wide range of products spanning from fibre bonded and tufted carpet in sheets and tiles to specialist barrier and entrance matting. The company situated in Ossett, Wakefield was originally set up as J&F Burrows in 1917 on an 11 acre site that is still occupied today.
We received a warm welcome by the design and sales team in their lovely design studio/showroom. After a fantastic lunch we were then treated to a tour of the factory which was fascinating to see some of the machines at work.
