PARKdesigned Architects were commissioned to refurbish The Faversham, an award-winning, multi-purpose venue in the heart of Leeds' University district. The project involved a creative fit-out that incorporated a limited palette of materials to craft a playful and inviting interior that reflects the vibrant atmosphere of the venue.

The Faversham is a dynamic and versatile venue, offering flexible spaces suitable for a wide range of events, from corporate functions to private parties, live performances, and weddings. The venue includes five distinct rooms that cater to different event sizes, from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations with up to 500 guests. In addition, the expansive outdoor terrace and garden area enhance the venue's adaptability, providing an excellent setting for outdoor events and gatherings.

PARKdesigned's approach to the refurbishment focused on maintaining the venue's unique charm while incorporating contemporary design elements to suit modern requirements. The use of a restrained material palette allows the space to retain its industrial charm while introducing clean, modern aesthetics.
