ABOUT THE PROJECT
PARKdesigned a leading office architecture firm in Leeds, was approached to assist with the design and visualisation of Duke Studios, a dynamic 7,000 sq. ft co-working space. The project aimed to create a flexible environment that would cater to the varying needs of the creative community, blending studio spaces, co-working areas, and desk rentals.
The challenge was to design an open and adaptable layout that could accommodate different working styles while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic. The diverse nature of the space required careful consideration of each area’s function, from collaborative workspaces to quieter, individual studios. PARKdesigned’s approach ensured that each zone was clearly defined but still flowed seamlessly into the next, creating a productive yet inspiring atmosphere.
The design incorporated modern materials and an industrial aesthetic to reflect the building’s character, with flexible furnishings and adaptable partitions to allow users to personalise their workspaces. The layout maximised natural light, with expansive windows and open-plan spaces to foster creativity and collaboration.
PARKdesigned’s expertise in office architecture was key in transforming this blank canvas into a vibrant and efficient co-working hub. By integrating functionality with aesthetic appeal, the space was designed to cater to the needs of a diverse range of creative professionals.
